First or second Thess?
Revelations is a book not a time?

1Thessalonians4-17 Says it and Revelation 4 backs it up. After this the church is never again mentioned as being on earth.

The harpazo, or being caught up, (rapture if you will) is separate from the trumpet.

There are various schools of thought - all with scriptural backing of one sort or another.

The pre-tribs believe the believers will be caught up prior to the tribulation.
The mid-tribs believe it will happen in the middle of it.
The post-tribs believe it won't happen until after.

He's right...Thess. 4:17..is talking about the "rapture"..the catching away of God's children...after this happens...then the antichrist comes forward...etc (revelation)...wrath of God..
Then after seven years, you have the second coming of Jesus...the 1000 years of peace...judgement..new heaven and new earth...no more pain, no death, NO MORE DEVIL..lol..woo-hoo!
