but you see you must test the waters, tell youre boyfriend about this certain feeling you are having
see how he will react to it, if he will react maturely
you and your boyfriend should cool off for a while
go away from the both of them for atleast a week and assess using a journal whom did you think about more
and who makes you reallly really happy
then choose that man

Sounds like you're heading for trouble. It's time for you to decide whether you will be a caring person or an insensitive person.
You can keep the friend but it will cause problems with your boyfriend sooner or later. That can be worked out, but you have to decide whether you will never cheat; since that is what's at hand here or soon.
