I believe that in the end (before Jesus comes back) there will not be one person that has not heard the word of God and been given the opportunity to receive Him or reject Him. There are missionaries going out all over the world. People are denying Christ everyday. But, what we don't really here about too many places are the people that are finding Him and accepting Him. The thing that we have to remember is this is God's world and Jesus said in the book of John, " My sheep hear my voice, and I know them and they follow me:
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
My Father, which gave them to me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

that is a good question, but you have to remember that Jesus went into hell to tell the people who went before the Messiah came, but the bible is quite clear that those who do not believe stand condemned. Gods word also says that no one will have an excuse before his throne, I do believe that means that all will have a chance in their life time to hear the gospel and either accept it or reject it. God is a God that is just, his mercies are new everyday and I am sure that since he is also patient, most people will have more than one chance to accept him or reject him.

Good question. I think that people that have never heard of the Gospel are either saved automatically or are given a chance after death like you said. Jesus would never just condemn someone to hell with out giving them a chance.

People who have never "heard" the gospel have been witnessed to. Creation testifies to the existence and glory of the almighty God. Romans1:20
For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

this is always a tough question. i think it's hard for non--believers, becase they are told by christians that God is loving and caring, which He is, and they don't understand why He doesn't let anyone who's not forgiven into heaven, i guess. I think there's actually a verse in the Bible that says that just seeing nature and knowing that it couldn't have come by itself is explanation enough for itself...i really don't know, sorry i couldn't help more =)

An Inuit hunter asked the local missionary priest:
"If I did not know about God and sin, would I go to hell?"
"No," said the priest, "not if you did not know."
"Then why," asked the Inuit earnestly, "did you tell me?"

Hell was dreamed up by the Catholic Church in the Dark Ages. Try comparing every mention of "hell" in a lexicon, and you might see something interesting. So my answer is, don't worry about them, justice will be meted out.
