This is my second wedding, we are having a small wedding, and a party afterwards, and would like ideas on what colors to have.

a very popular set of colors is turquoise and brown. They have some gorgeous invitations in those colors at crane papers.

second weddings are great, this time around do something colorful. Take themes from your favorite fruit or ice cream, etc. Examples are brown pink and white (neopoltian ice cream) with this theme you could give out ice cream scoops for wedding favors. Or another idea is lemon lime pie. Use green and yellow for the color schemes and infuse limes into the centerpieces and serve lemon meringue pie for a desert. My favorite colors are brown and pink, or brown and aqua. Have fun deciding!!!

Flowers - do you know any friends that do flower arranging? Or just put flowers in the church and go for the 'minimalist' approach. Sometimes the reception will include decorations in the total price. Bridesmaid dresses - why not go for cocktail dresses? Or try debenhams, or as someone to make them? They don't have to cost hundreds to look pretty! Wedding cake - M&S do one on a budget! Also, cakes aren't necessary, alot of couples aren't having them nowadays Entertainment - For mine, we're asking our friend's band to play and they're doing this as a wedding gift! DJs just shop around for the cheapest, ring lots of places and see what prices you get Church costs - I think it's about £400 minimum but then they whack like £1000 for bell ringing (in all fairness do you NEED this?), best thing to do is go see the minister, ask what you NEED to pay then decide what extras you need Outfits - I'd say the best option is to hire these, again go online and see what's available at the best price Reception decor - Ask around at venues, at our's they're including the decor in the price Good luck!! ;)

Today, first time brides are adding color to their wedding.
This being your second marriage, I would venture to say that the sky is the limit for you. It use to be that 2nd marriages were done quietly; but not anymore! You have lost love & found it again. What a celebration!

I do still hold to the traditon that the veil covering the face be reserved for the 1st time bride.

For the dress-- try using a Beige or Off-White wedding dress..

For the motif any color would do it really depends with you and your husband. On my second wedding I had a Off-white dress made and my motif was pink =)

Darling, its your second.. enjoy, be yourself and be creative too. Take care c",)

if the wedding is soon, a simple fall wedding would be beautiful with the fall colors of red and orange, it is vibrant (and cheap) use pumpkins and mums to decorate adn use deep colored flowers to simply decorate your cake, it will be beautiful!
