What's up? Are we supposed to focus on the "Thanksgiving and Prayer" part. Or the end times prophecy? Or the warning against idleness?

The subject was of a great falling away, which I believe we see occurring within our denominations today - people so desire that there be every way right like a wheel: the rim is all religions and the spokes all ways to heaven and the hub God - but the reverse is acutally true if you know how a wheel is built - the hub is built - God and the spokes are the means by which he gave us to come to him - and in this case the spoke is the teachings of Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God, and the outer rim is the church, the spiritual church, the only union that true Christians share and enjoy as there is only one way to worship in the Lord - and that is through spirit and truth. This passage tells that many will be decieved because they do not make the time to truly learn who Christ is and how he taught us to be, but found they wanted their pleasure in unrighteousness and thought their goodness was sufficient or their rote prayers of pennance and repentance - but without heart and soul, all the words in the world don't change the Spirit.
