All you brides or grooms out there how much did you find that photographers and Dj's wanted for a down payment?

most photographers wanted their sitting fee when we got married, it ran from 75 to 150 dollars and once the proofs came in then we paid another fee, we had a band and had to pay entirely up front when we booked

Well the photographer wanted 3 payments - 1/3 down payment. The DJ wanted a simple $50 or whatever we could do. (He was being nice I think)

Everywhere that I checked for photographers wants $300 down

I had to put down at LEAST 50% for all of my vendors.

DUH........every one is different, sweetie! If you were down here in Palm Beach Florida it would be more than in Dothan Alabama. Did it occur to you to pick up the phone and call around?????
