He may simply find it interesting that you have a hobby such as cheerleading. But come one, the guy is having sexual fantasies about what he can do with a cheerleader! What guy wouldn't. Maybe this shouldn't be an opening line if you want a guy to take you seriously.

So young... I wish I knew in high school what I know now.
Since you're young enough that you apparently haven't realized this yet, I'll spell it out for you. Guys keep their brains between their legs. If you're pretty, they're attracted to you. All of them. Every single one. Even the ones who would never go out with a cheerleader because they think you're all a bunch of snobs. Even the ones who know you personally and don't like you. They're still physically attracted to you if you're pretty. They can't help it.
Guys aren't like girls that way. Girls obsess over a particular guy. Guys just see all the pretty girls around us and are attracted to all of them. There may be one particular girl who stands out, and we'll obsess about them for a while, but mostly, we'll be happy to get a date with any girl who's hot. Of course, it may not last past one date if the personalities aren't compatible, but the initial attraction is ALWAYS there for EVERY pretty girl.
If you're hot (and cheerleaders generally are, so I'm assuming that includes you), then the sooner you realize this, the easier it'll be for you to deal with guys.
Now for the much shorter answer: If you ever want to know if someone likes you, ASK THEM!!!

Well, no offense to guys everywhere but you can never find them out. So the easiest thing to do for them would be to take it slow and easy. If he really does like you he would sacrafice his jacket for you when it's cold and all that mushy stuff. But it depends if YOU like him.
