I see a lot of personal ads written by men who require "no drama". What do they mean by that? I'm from another country so I'm a bit baffled. The frequency of those who specify that makes me think that all the women they meet have issues or something but everyone's got issues! What kind of drama are they talking about?

I had a personals ad that said that exact thing.
It's a request that only women without ongoing personal issues and/or only those women that don't create problems where there are no problems need apply. Some women seem to need to always have an issue with something or someone (ex's etc.), and that's drama. I dated a drama queen for a while and that was emotionally draining since drama queens thrive on sympathy and that's tough to give 100% of the time.

They are referring to women who make a big issue out of every little situation..they are the sympathy takers. They want everyone to feel sorry for them and really have no control of their lives. Men want women that stand up for themselves and not to expect them to come to their rescue over a melted tube of lipstick...hehe Drama means an actress...so be normal not like your up on stage.

when a person ad says no drama. It is becasically saying not to bring any negativity into their lives rather it's your crazy exes or other issues a person may have

It means if you can't live without having a problem or starting a fight just because you are bored, then take a hike.

Drama meaning.........fighting, argueing, dramatic situations, game playing.....stuff like that. Better not come to our country, sweetie, unless you can handle that stuff.
