Today the main probem with Christians is that they are to peaceful, it's become like a hippie group, Ive been on here preaching the crusade, a rallying cry to my Christian brothers to unite and what do I get? o jesus wouldnt want that. You know what Jesus wants, he wants us to Honor God above all esle, that Jesus said was THE MOST IMPORTANT thing above love thy neighbor, and what does God will, just look at the first 2 commandments honor God and no Idols, and Muslims pray to a arab moon god, and they HAVE to pray to a stone IDOL in mecca , they have to face it , Jews dont have to face jersulam nor do Christians. I do not know the question that you are trying to ask!!
I do know that the Christians have become complacent in their walk with God! They do not read the Bible or pray the way they should!
The Churches are not using time honored versions of the Bible but instead are using versions that leave out important verses and change the meaning of others! They are dumbing down the Gospel so that God will become pleasing to men instead of making men pleasing to God!
Christians today know more about what Rick Warren, Joyce Meyers, T.D. Jakes and Jim Cymballa have to say than what God has to say!
I pray that the Churches wake up before it is too late!

You are WRONG WRONG WRONG! I can't believe you call yourself a Christian! Jesus teaches PEACE, LOVE FOR EVERYONE, TOLERANCE! Who are YOU to judge anyone else for their religious practices?
Let only the perfect cast out the first stone and I'm sure you're not perfect calling peaceful people hippies because I've actually studied the teachings of Christ.
Muslims do NOT pray to Idols. Allah is NOT a moon god, Allah is the Arab word for "God". Next time you, in prayer, refer to God as "Father" you should try and think about that. Allah is another word for GOD. Muslims study the teachings of Christ and all of the words of Christ just as much as you and I do. In fact, in the Islamic faith, it's an Affirmation of faith to study Christ's teachings. Jesus is seen as the most important prophet of God.
Muslims DO NOT pray to a stone idol, they are NOT pagen. You are misinformed.When you are in a church, do you not turn towards the cross as a symbol of Christianity? Do you not look at the cross, wear one around your neck? Do you not decorate it at Easter? How would you feel if someone said you were worshipping an idol because you gave so much respect to a symbol? Rememberance is NOT idol worship, LEARN THE DIFFERENCE! Who have you been gaining your information from? Do you not realize that you are dangerous? You're spreading around lies that are harmful to people.
Christianity teaches you not to judge others though you might disagree with them. You are rallying not for the true teachings of our Lord and Savior but for your own politcal agenda. You are NOT following the true teachings of Christianity and you should be ashamed of yourself.
My advice, turn your computer off and pray that God doesn't strike you down for your hateful words. Do you not realize that you are working against your own religion, turning people away. Your hate and lies are a danger to the Christian community.

Ok. Whatever you say. It's just that you have to remember that people are constantly watching christians to see how we will behave. What we will say, what we will do. Sometimes, we are the only example of Christ that people will see. If a person sees a christian acting violent or mean, then they may start to think along the lines of " Why should I be a christian?" or " is this how they really are?" And how can we minister to people if we are hypocrites? It is true that God knows what is in our heart, but we must not assume that we can act in anyway and let our sin nature get the best of us. We may, in effect, be turning people away from God.

during the times of Muhammed-pbuh, people would stand on top of the Kaa'bah and give the Adhan -- call for prayer. imagine, a beleiver standing on the Idol they worship?

The main reason for atheism today is Christians.
Young Christians need to stand up and speak the word of God. It's not about other religions or anything. It is all about God, and what God wants us to do.
Jesus commanded us to spread the Word. He commanded us to love our brothers. He commanded us to go out into the world and tell the Good News.
Let us unite, brothers and sisters in Christ, let us stand up and speak out. Let us spread the Word and love our neighbors and tell the Good News.

why did you go off on a tirade about the Muslims?
Stick to your original question, which seems to be "why aren't Christians waking up to reality in the world"
The answer for me, of course is that we here in North America are complacent. We live in the lap of luxury and we have no concept of either persecution, dictatorship or physical war.
I agree - Christians need to wake up - we need to live our lives for God at all times, pray to have His will be done, and follow through!

well, I as a follower of Jesus and being christian will agree on this much..... not enough people christians and others are taking this war between Isreal and Iraq very seriously.........Its a Holy War.........and these terrorists want to take over and make us worship as they do and wont stop till they succede in doing just that.
People seem to think its all just gonna go away, that the terrorists who flew 2 planes into the twin towers, who flew yet another plan into the pentagon and yet another they tried to hit the white house with, but because of brave americans that plan was thwarted and the plane went down in PA.......These terrorists killed over 6000 people in this slaughter and it continues today in the form of our fire fighters and policemen and others who were down there at ground zero helping out.....they are getting sick, so sick they have to retire and cant work, so sick they are dying......so infact these terrorists have killed or are killing many more than we even realized and doing it slowly over time. People bury their heads and think it will all go away that these terrorists arent gonna hit us anymore.....You are very wrong......If something isnt done and these sick men arent stopped they will come after this country again......dont think they wont.
We have a government who refuses to see or admit to the severity of the problem ......they would rather bury their heads and pretend its all gonna be ok.....when the fact is.......we have Russia and China wanting to hand over nuclear weapons to these terrorists......there are 8 major places in the U.S.A. these terrorists want to bomb should they get the weapons they need and if that happens you can bet our world as we know it will be turned completely upside down.......If these terrorists are allowed to take over do the people of this country even know what could and will happen........they will make everyone pray as they do and worship the idols they do and it doesnt matter who you are.....christian or not.....if you dont do as they tell you to .....they will behead you......you see their country is the only country that actively uses beheading....so, you can bet if they ever get a chance to infiletrate this country thats whats gonna happen......yet noone thinks that is serious do they? We have Islams teaching our children the basics of war through seemingly innocent paintball games........people dont fool yourselves should these terrorists attack they will have these young boys ready to do battle for them at any given moment.
I for one dont see in the Bible God saying " let yourselves be targets, let yourselves be slaughtered" God Himself helped many armies in the bible crush their enemies and will do the same today......But it depends on us.... We are the army of God....we have to stand up and pray for this government of ours and for Isreal like never before.......We need to stand shoulder to shoulder, hand in hand and lift up Isreal, our goverment and all our leaders and pray their eyes be opened to the truth that they would say yes there is a problem and it needs to be handled. We have to keep fighting if we are to win this war.......while the men and women are over there fighting for us and our country...... we here need to be doing battle spiritually through Prayer, Prayer and more Prayer.
