I dont have the sticker telling me the CD of my operating system and microsoft is asking me to validate the CD key. Is there a way to find out?

Yes there is a way. The key is stored in the registry. But if you would like something simple that will not take much time. Try this.

Is your XP functioning? If so there is a program floating on the 'Net that retrieves the key from within the installation.

normally xp validates it self through the internet or you call to get you key code if your not connected to the internet
