it's in the 60-70,000 $$ range..i will have this surgery on tuesday of next week;however, i have insurance

If you need surgery and your poor I'm sure there are ways to get you help. Call the hospitals someone there ought to be a sympathetic ear and give you information on how to get financial help. If you got hurt at work file for Workman's comp.

i had the spinal fusion done last year, mine was paid for by workers comp but i still received an invoice and I believe the total plus 3 days in hospital came to around 47,000 and some change.
Just a little friendly advise, its not worth it unless you absolutely cannot walk right now, everyone is different but it made me worse. Best of luck to you if you decide to have it done.

I don't have an estimate but you can call your local hospital and get an estimate. Don't forget there are also physician charges and radiologist charges that are separate from the hospital bill.
