Avergae age varies by breed- some 5-7 others up to 15.
Spaniels show an average lif span of 7-10 years.
Ours is a sheltie they live 13-15 years.
Health issues obvious affect those ranges so keep your dog healthy and visit a vet for a checkup at least every 2 yrs. Vaccinations are a must- Petco offers most at the lowest prices to keep overall bills low but do get a full checkup at least every 2 yrs.

Small dogs live longer, usually 10-15 years, at least . larger breeds, like great danes and mastiffs usually only have about 6-8 years. Brittany spaniels have a life expectancy of 10-12 years.

Brittany's live approximately 8-10 years. for large breeds like the st. Bernard, great Danes, and mastiffs its 6-9 years. for small breeds like poodles, or toys its 10-15. how long a dog lives depends on genetics, proper diet and exercise and regular vet check ups and vaccines.

smaller dogs (toy-medium) can live 15-20 years or even longer...all depending on how healthy they've been all their life.( If they've eaten right and exercised), Larger dogs will live to be 10-14 on the average. Alot depends on the breed also.

average lifespan of a med/large breed is 8-12 years. smaller dogs live longer. bigger dogs have shorter spans. But it all comes down to proper medical care (vaccinations, check ups, etc...) Whatever the life span, they add joy to our lives what time that are here.

Depends on the breed. Smaller dogs tend to live longer than larger ones.

13-15 years if you keep him healthy by exercising him and feeding him good food, not stuff from your table. That food is too fatty for him and will give him heart disease. Take him to the vet regularly, keep him checked-up and he'll live a long time. Watch for heartworms...
