Is it just me, or do religious people (ahem, Christians) seem to get a hell of a lot more "thumbs down" on their answers than anyone else? I just find this interesting. Any thoughts?

I don't give every christian answer a thumbs down. If they are voicing their opinion that is fine with me. But if they just preach and don't actually answer the question or are insulting and rude to other people then I give them one. However, there are plenty of good Chritians out there who answer politey, and I give them a thumbs up no matter what their opinion.

we get thumbs down because we are answering evil questions and there is allot of evil doer here all of you are posses by the devil you are his puppets.
when ever a christian ask something of interest you always answer with dumb answers, it is sad to see how there is allot of people that they say they don't want no one to tell them what to do yet the devil have control over them, isn't that sad.
so i really don't care how many thumbs down i get I'm still going to tell you what you are doing is wrong, don't forget from every evil comes good and that's a fact.
look at what happen in 9/11 all the people came closer even if it was for a short period of time good came out of evil and I'm sure there were allot of people turning to God, more people became Christians from the tragedy

thank you for the thumbs down God bless you.

anybody else....
are you giving up so quick, ohhh come on now!!!

Maybe it's just me, but I think bad answers get more 'thumbs down' than good answer. I don't even find that interesting, I kinda think it makes sense.

It very much depends on what questions you are looking at.

Also, why do you equate "religious" people with Christians? People of all faiths can be "religious". Religion is merely following a set of prescribed rules, (usually made up by men).

Christianity itself is made up of many huge divisions like: Catholic vs. Protestant, and numerous denominations, like Methodist, Episcopalian, Baptist, Lutheran, Nazarene, AME, Church of God, Charismatic, Pentecostal, sects and "streams".

The Christianity I practice has to do with a relationship with a Living, Amazing and Powerful Being, the Creator of the Universe. It has to do with a covenant between Him and myself. Millions of others have entered into this relationship with the Living God. Amazing things result from taking steps of faith to reach out toward Him.

Equating Christianity with religiousity shows you have little knowledge of either. Why not learn more about it before making judgements?

Nope, agnostics get thumbs down too. As well as atheists, pagans, muslims. The Christians aren't being singled out if that's what you're suggesting.

I don't know that I would equate some of the people on here with the word religious or Christian.

It hurts too much when I try to think about it. The non-religious just love to click on the thumbs down button. I think they feel like they're in the coliseum watching Christians die and give them a big thumbs down.

I only give "thumbs down" to people who ask purposefully inflammatory questions or don't even ask one at all. It's the attitude, not the religion.

I'm a Christian but I hardly ask religious questions because I'm openminded. True that though and alot of Christians seem to thumbsdown things that conflict with the Bible/Christianity. Sad really.

Only the zealots coming in to crack on anyone else, and succeeding only in sounding like a loon. Give me all the thumbs down you want I love it when Christians dislike me.
