I don't know but if Australians are more "Godless" or non religious then it would explain why they seem to be much happier people. Religion is a breeding ground for divisiveness and hatred of other people and can only lead to bad things in the long run. Listen to some of these real big time religious zealots trying to convert the world and talking about the love of Christ,and then look in their eyes when they are confronted and see if you can see the genocide that hides in their heart,I've seen it some who talk the most about the "love of Christ" are some of the evilest people alive,they just haven't gotten the power to prove it yet. Want to see what happens when religion has too much control,one word TALIBAN.

Hey c t I'm Australian and it is a fact that Australia is right up there in the godlessness nations . Want to know why? Mostly because most Australians find relligion to be somewhat personal and being the lazy laidback race we are couldn't be bothered furthering our own PRIVATE beliefs. Besides there's really not enough time in life to be shoving doctrines down other peoples throats! Enjoy your day !!!Enjoy your life!!!

Yes, it also has one of the least murders and other acts of violence...hmmm..strange.
And person below me, you need to learn your history!!!!!!!!! Nazis embraced the christian religino for all that they did, why do u think they targeted peoople who had exact opposite beliefs to put in death camps and the german symbol was an iron cross? You need to learn about it from an unbiased source like a history book, not your church,

North Korea, Iran, Iraq and any and all Muslim countries are totally and completely godless. Anyone who thinks that Australia is godless, is blind to reality.
