We moved into a new house, she was doing it at the old house, and thought a fresh start would help. There is one other cat in the house, and 3 Litter Maid litter boxes spaced out, and emptied 2x a week.

If your cat was doing this for a while in your old home, she has probably decided not to use the litterbox. It doesn't matter how many boxes you have or how often you clean them, she, for whatever reason, is not using the box as some cats don't.

If the cat has been checked by a vet to rule out any health problems, try cleaning the soiled area with Nature's Miracle, follow the directions. This can be found at Petsmart or Petco or ordered on-line. Also purchase Feliway, it's a spray that can be used to pursuade your cat that it's ok to use the litterbox.

These ideas are no guarantee that your cat will start using the litterbox, but at least it's worth the effort to try.

This cat might be trying to prove that she is the dominate cat and so is purposley peeing on the carpets etc. That is a tough on to break but it is do able. I have had cat all my life with different personallityies so hear me out. Without being cruel you need to be firm

This cat must be shown that it is not the ruler of the house. Lock her up in a small kennel in the same spot the she peeing in. for 10 or 20 minutes. This will not work right away. You have to try a few times. Be firm and tell the cat that this is what you are doing and do it! if you extend the time a longer each time they soon will get the hint that they are not in charge. Never over night though! They need to roam and sleep still.

No if it not out of difinace and it may be nerviousness. You need to know your cat. If she is having anxiety over something, kind of the opposite of the previous then you must help them slowly. When the pee, you need to carried them to the litter box and speak to them about where the pee should go then. When you are cleaning the pee put some cat food or treats with you and reward them if her if she come to see what you are doing. Before you giove them a treat tell them that the treat are going to stop if they pee here. try that a few times

one thing you must remeber is cat are very sensitive. Be firm without yelling and and hitting. They are less resillent than dogs.

good luck

Last year my beautiful Manx cat Theodore went out for the evening and never came back. I love cats and the house didn't feel the same without one, so I picked up Lola from a rescue centre. She was very frightened and would pee all over the house. I found Cat Spraying No More on the internet and the techniques worked almost immediately. I haven't had a problem with Lola since. Amazing!

Can't stop your cat peeing in the house? Then worry no more...

If you go to any store (target, meijer, walmart, etc) and get "simple solution". You can spray it wherever the cat is peeing and it will eliminate the smell. It worked great for me with my cat defacating. But I should also add, there might be something wrong. Cats urinate or defecate out of their litter boxes sometimes because they are sick. I took mine to the vet and found out he was really constipated and that's why he wasn't using his box. So if it doesn't stop after trying some alternatives, I would suggest taking him to the vet. Good Luck! I know how frustrating it is not knowing why they are doing it. But I hope this helps!

Go to your local petstore. They make sprays that smell really bad to your cat and it wont go near what every you spray. But you cant smell it. Which is really nice. This should work. If not your cat is stubborn and then I would suggest if its not already fixed you get that done. Its probably not peeing but spraying. So that a cat of another sex will come mate. That and its marking its territory. Getting it fixed will help. Good Luck!

First off start scooping DAILE. Then if that doesn't stop the problem, sprinkle the area tha cat is peeing with ground black pepper. Guaranteed to stop the peeing.

How old is your cat? You may wanna try training. If you already have, you should probably try to keep the cat out of the basement

You could lock her out of the basement or put her in a kennel with something to catch the urine. I have no tolerence for animals or children who have accidents with their excrements! To me that is despicable and unforgivable, so I hope you're a much more understanding owner that I would be!

Well you could hire a trainer to train it to pee and flush the toilet. Or go to the vet and spay/neuter your cat.
