1. If you've never done it before, try it at a salon. A stylist will help you pick the right shade for your coloring.
2. For the first time, I would pick something not too far from your natural color. That way, if you don't like it, it won't be hard to fix.
3. Hard to say. It depends on how old you are. Just sit down with the most reasonable parent and plead your case.
4. Two tips: ask your stylist to do a demi or semi permanent color or even a glaze just so you can try it out or go for highlights. Highlights are much easier to maintain than all over color. They're more natural looking too as your natural hair color is blended with a lighter one.

1. At a salon because if something goes wrong you have doctors I mean beauticians there to fix it.
2. Jet Black because it is the most healthiest color on the market.
3. Tell them that you feel that you are mature enough to decide the color of your hair especially if it you are doing it so that it could be healthier. Tell them that by the time that you are 25 you want a full, healthy, and strong head of hair,

If you have never dyed your hair you need to go to the salon. Color depends on what color your hair is now. I would do something subtle and natural. Maybe your parents will let you if you show them a pic and let them no it won't be too drastic. If you decide to dye it yourself be very careful. The colors on the side of the box don't always come out that way. Good Luck!

1. Either but you will get better and more consistent results if you go to the salon
2. You should chose a natural color if you are attending school because most schools now have a rule about the color your hair can be. If not, dye it any color you want to.
3. Not sure on this one, just tell your mom you'd like to try another color. She may understand.
4. Get hair products for processed hair.

your parents are more likely to let you dye it if you go to a salon if they're worried about your hair coming out bad. I've dyed my hair plenty of times myself and it's never come out bad. The color depends on you.

Try using a semi-permanant colour one shade darker or one shade lighter and it is gentle on your hair and washes out after about 8 -10 washes
