juz like a destop computer, using a cable..phone line or leased line or LAN, etc
using a wireless connection..

First you have to have an internet provider - either wirelss internet at home or a coffeehouse, etc, or connect a phone line and connect to your provider's local access number via the phone line.
Then you open Internet Explorer or whatever internet browser that you use and then you should be on the internet.

well if the laptop is internet ready, then theres a jack on the back of it just liek a desktop computer. or u can get a wireless card.

You hook it up to the internet with a Cat5 or Cat6 cable or you have wireless capability and find a hot spot.
Just like a desktop computer. You have to have a network card.

a laptop is just a compact, portable version of a PC so it shouldn't be any different? call your ISP and talk to them, they will tell you your options for getting the internet on your laptop

get a wireless modem and then set the settings on ur laptop.. make sure you have a wirless card in ur laptop
