OK, she is almost dead-last again, only beating 8 players today out of the very weak 150-man field. The PGA is clearly discriminating against her because she is a woman and because she is only 16. They are making the courses way too long and difficult - and as a result she can't make a cut.

She should sue the PGA to require them to set up women's tees for her - AND allow her to play with a handicap of 6 to make the competition fair! She should also demand damages of $10m for all of the sponsorships she is losing by not making cuts.

For goodness sakes PGA - she is ONLY 16 and she is still learning! Haven't you heard her scream this at you every time she plays?

She also deserves a sponsor's exemption to all events - including the Masters, a share of the ticket sales and TV rights, and no penalties for future incidents of cheating. SHE IS THE FUTURE FEMALE TIGER WOODS for crying out loud, so stop deliberately humiliating her every week.

Martha Burk where are you? Help!

Wow - 8 over par through 12 holes today! This is going to add fuel to that lawsuit!

(The PGA is clearly discriminating against her because she is a woman and because she is only 16. They are making the courses way too long and difficult - and as a result she can't make a cut) What??? They let her play don't they?...the rules and gudielines are set prior to her entry...she knows them

(She should sue the PGA to require them to set up women's tees for her)This sounds like the LPGA

(AND allow her to play with a handicap of 6 to make the competition fair!) Now it sounds like my club championship

(She should also demand damages of $10m for all of the sponsorships she is losing by not making cuts.) Now you sound like a lawyer

(she is ONLY 16 and she is still learning! Haven't you heard her scream this at you every time she plays?) Hey, why not let every 16 year old female golfer join in a class action suit?

(he also deserves a sponsor's exemption to all events - including the Masters, a share of the ticket sales and TV rights, and no penalties for future incidents of cheating. SHE IS THE FUTURE FEMALE TIGER WOODS for crying out loud, so stop deliberately humiliating her every week) Let her EARN them...what the hell has she ever won??? Does the PGA force her to enter???

Seriously, she is a fine young and developing talent, who should hone her skills on the ladies tour...I think most people woulnd't mind her playing on the men's tour if she had won a few LADIES tournaments>

against my better judgement I am responding to your obvious rhetoric. It business baby. It's all about money. Damn a 16 year old woman beat 8 male professional golfers. She should be congratulated. It's an open tournament not a mens/ladies event. She gets all that sponsor's money even when she misses the cuts and the total greatly exceeds 10 million! By the way from 13 years on age until today she has 7 top 10's in 12 LPGA majors. Not bad for a very young and attractive kid. And by the way, the PGA tour is the big winner you can't but this type publicity.

I was reading this and actually becoming disturbed. Especially with the 'setting up of ladies tees' comment. But you gave it away with the ticket sales and free cheating. This is actually well written sarcasm. Sarcasm now-a-days is so half baked. Good work. For those who were reading this saying "THAT'S RIGHT", and supporting this line of thought, young Wie can drive the ball 300 yards, and can average at least 270 during a tournament. Distance is not the problem for her.

You make an excellent point...
I can't hit the ball as far as Tiger so I should be able to play from the womens tees.

I can't put very well so they should put a backstop behind the hole so I don't over shoot.

I can't chip as well as other pros, so they should let me throw the ball instead of hitting it.

If they let me do this I'd win tournaments too. I should sue the PGA.

It is insane to think that everyone should have to play by the same rules.

properly i think of she has plenty to learn and lose by utilising enjoying. If she a minimum of makes the cut back, she would be able to make background because of the fact the 1st woman to make the cut back considering the fact that 1946, she would be able to learn extra admire from her followers, and get a paycheck. If she doesnt make the cut back her critics will proceed to overcome her up, her self assurance against the adult males will drop much extra, making her objectives unrealistic, despite if she makes the cut back it wont be that spectacular because of the fact the right gamers wont be there. i ask your self whether she realizes that the people on the Reno-Tahoe open are basically utilising her as a exposure stunt for rankings and interest. the actual golfers are going to be enjoying on the worldwide golfing Championships, making this experience in straightforward terms a step above the national excursion.

Equal rights means level and equal field of play. if she cant hang, she might have to stick to the lpga (ladies tour). i'm sure plenty of guys on the nationwide tour would love to take some of the purses playing on the women's tour for awhile, since half are broke and struggling to get the shot to play in that spot on the pga tour that Mrs. Wie took up this week..

She isn't the future Tiger Woods, she can't even get out of a bunker. If she doesn't think she can handle a mens event, than she shouldent be playing in one.

then they should allow men to play on the LPGA..you can't have it both ways...in my opinion she might win a PGA event when the media leaves her alone to play her own game..she is good and will get better...the media needs to keep her distance and yes one day she will play in the masters,,i would say in less than 10 years
