Hair Help!?

Question

I need some cute ideas for Homecoming hair styles! My hair is just past my shoulders, layered, and pretty straght. Thanks a bunch!

I think that you should look through some magazines and see what hair styles you like. Pick out a couple and then go to the hair salon. Show them the pictures and ask if you can have your hair like that. I am pretty sure that they can do it. If not show them another picture. Hope I helped! Good Luck!

Start with small sections from the bottom, spray with a little thermal heat and hair spray, then curl in ringlets. DO NOT comb them out. Pull down another section and repeat. Keep doing this until all your hair is curled. I would use about 3/4" or 1" curling iron. After all your curls have cooled, tip your head over and shake them out, don't comb them, they'll go frizzy. Flip it back up, spray it and arrange the curls how you want them. If you want some pulled back, loosely pull back a few pieces from the sides with a bobby pin or pull it all back and wrap the elastic with a little hair to cover it up, bobby pin the hair underneath the ponytail.. Give it one good all over spray when you are done.

If it were me, I would curl your hair with hotrollers first. Then I would pull the sides back (to show off cute earrings). There are lots of options about clipping the sides back. One easy one would be to use a clear ponytail holder for the ponytail. Then take a small section of hair in the pony tail (approx 1/2 inch) and wrap it around the ponytail holder. Clip the end with a bobby pin underneath the pony tail.
