Have been diagnoised with dysthymia after major depression episode and need someone to talk to. Proffesional or support group. However, je ne parle pas francais. Any english speaking ideas in rhone-alps? Ain department, Oyonnax

i presume you are on anti depressants? if not you must take a french dictionary to the nearest doctor and make your well understood or ask a friend. There are many expat groups in your area ask at the mayors office i'm sure they can help. eat well take some exercise even indoors with windows open you are in great fresh air there...try to start learning french while you recover it will be a great incentive a few words at a time ..just asking for bread etc watch french tv and try to interpret.. never give up..give yourself a small goal every day and keep talking on the net... it will help regards jet

A good herbal remedy for depression is St. John's wort. You might also try eating chocolate.
