the other sheep are the gentile nations and this fold are the Jews. He was speaking in present tense. and the one fold was in reference to the church after Pentecost.
Jesus is our Shepherd, our LORD, our God, and our heavenly father
the message there was very exact
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

When Jesus said this, He was speaking to a Jewish audience. The "other sheep" to which He refers are the gentiles. At that time, they were not part of the fold, because salvation had not yet come to them.
Currently, we are all in the same fold, praise God.
Peace.

yes but not all serve him the way he intended for us to serve instead we serve the other but in time this system of things will pass away and he will establish a new heaven and earth. When the new comes in and the old goes out the ones that hearken to his voice will be part of the one fold and one shepherd. True christians

This reminds me of the time I visited a farm and asked the farmer if all those six lambs blonged to the sheep they were following around.
He laughed and asked me if I was kidding. I wasn't because they were all very young and seemed to be following their mother.
My farmer friend explained to me that sheep followed anything that moves and for no reason whatever, they just followed.
It was only then that I fully understood why preachers refer to themselves as shepherds and why they mind the "flock", or is it "fold"?.
Please note that your quotation were the words of Jesus, "Then Jesus said unto them again" (John 10:7), and not of Christ as you will have us believe.

I believe this is Jesus speaking of the Gentiles. He was sent to the Jews, but through His followers His Word would spread to the Gentiles. When this happened, all would be equal as Christians and be one flock; see I Corinthians 12:12, 13

Well first of all people (2Pet.1:20)shouldn't interpet the Bible themselves. They should let (2Pet.1:21)God's Spirit guide them into truth.
I actually know this because I've been (2Tim.1:9)called out of 2nd Babylon into God's Church(Eph.4:4; 5:27; Acts 20:28).

Not all of us are in the same fold; most(Matt.7:13) don't follow Jesus(Phil.2:21) and his teachings(Matt.28:20).

Great question, John chapter 10 is very inspiring for a Christian.
The other sheep refer to the gentiles. Jesus is assuring the gentiles that He made them a part of His flock, along with the Jews, in one body which is the church of believers.
