It is neither fair or a compromise. Why reward anyone who breaks the law? At any rate we would just have to keep deporting the same men over and over again even more that we do now. If their wives were on this side of the border it would be an added incentive for them to cross back over.

No they should all go back,and informed that if they return illegally again they will incur the fines and jail time that signs at border crossings clearly state you can be given for illegal crossing. And that attitude should be enforced 100% no exceptions. And their children should be sent back with them regardless of their citizenship,if when they turn 18 and their American citizens they can return,and they can bring their parents if they do it legally. And to top it off employers should be fined so heavily for knowingly hiring an illegal that no employer in America would risk it,say $100,000 dollars for every day every illegal employee is on the job,and then you would see 12 million people deport themselves and begin proceedings for legal immigration. They can either enter legally like my grandparents did,or not at all. If they would break the first law they encounter in our country we don't need them.

Why is it that as soon as illegal immigrants are mentioned, majority of people right away assume that they are Mexican or Hispanic or such. First of all the question is just appaling. How could one even think of such discrimination (gender AND nationality). Second, what will doing what the question suggests accomplish in terms of other illegal aliens? Such as myself? I am from Latvia (That's Russia for those who don't know geography). And thirdly, what about all these children of immigrants, who would not be able to go to their home country, and who were brought here when they were children, who are adapted to living in US and speak English perfectly.

What sense could that possibly make!!? The Mexican men work the worthless little jobs and smuggle illegal drugs around. However the woman are even worse as they have as many children as possible knowing that other planned tax-paying families must shoulder the burden. (Mexicans don't pay taxes don't bother with 1 example contradictions.)

At least illegal immigrants from Mexico don't commit mass murder leaving the survivors with a tiny plot of land, some casinos, and a cartload of booze. I also think it's nuts that naturalized citizens know American history better than we do.

she would get free welfare and medical and a home, then what?...he would be right back and enjoy the fruits of our labor!!!

If you are not paying taxes like the rest of us then you are hurting us and our economy, by leaving her we defeat the purpose of the immigration laws...hell just throw the law out then!

Get your green card and pay your taxes like the rest of us!!

You could be breaking up families with that. I dont know what to think on this whole thing. I think if they come here and arent complaining but happy to be here and are hard working then their fine. I hate it when people come here and try to hang the mexican flag or change our lang. to spanish...

hell no, they all are probably pregnant. thats a big part of the problem now. men, women , children, born and unborn need to go.even thoes ugly rat looking mexican dogs cant stay.
