Freak out as I couldn't picture him somewhere across this world without his remote for the TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would leave that partner. There are many definitions of 'partner' though. If it is a marriage and promises of faithfulness and dedication were made, then it is unforgiveable to have a secret life. It goes against everything that love and trust stand for.
