Fallow you own heart. You know what is best for you in your own knowing. What others believe does not fit all. Search for that which feels correct for yourself.
Myself I was raised Christian in a Methodist Church.
After seeing what Man can do to man during Viet Nam and spending a year in a hospital recovering from my own wounds.
I knew so call main stream religion is NOT all is was cracked up to be. For how can one kill another if one is a TRUE Christian.
So I started studying other belief systems.
I now call myself a spiritualist. And believe we are all one, what one does to another affects all.
Seek out what you heart is telling you, and keep seeking until you find something that brings you "your" OWN INNER PEACE"

I believe in a GOD. How I choose to believe is to personal to let anyone else get in the way.Religion is just someone Else's opion on who GOD is and how you should believe.Most religions have some good things about them until people come along and use them to kill others for not believing the same thing.

That's called Atheism, for one thing.
I feel rather "enlightened" being an Atheist, because I can now view the world in a way that makes sense. I also feel that I am able to hold myself responsible for fights, punishments, etc, because there is no deity to blame it on. In addition, it feels good to know that I don't believe in a non-existent spirit of which there is no proof whatsoever.

I'm not religious and this came about when I asked myself the question: What church would God go to...I came to the conclusion that religions are used to control people but I have always been one to believe that we as humans control ourselves. The trick is to learn what controls are used to make a good human.
