Please humble yourselves and pray. The world is a dark place. Please pray for God to shine his love down from heaven above and bring people to him for he loves you.

Yes amen - I do!
And in the hearts of men and women, boys and girls too
that they will know God's peace in their lives.

No God
No Peace

Know God
Know Peace

I trust that God (which I define very generally), if he-she chooses to be involved, will be doing the best thing for all of us whether we pray or not. I don't think God adds up prayer points before deciding there's enough to do the right thing.

What I do wish for is everyone understanding how vital peace is and works towards it.

I Do! Several times a day. And I pray that all the separate religions end the arrogant self righteousness and work on bringing people together rather than separating them. Let God do the judging, it's not our job!

Good sentiment, but it can't happen.

1Th 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

I am not saying that this prayer is a bad thing. I am not an anarchist or fatalist who is looking for the judgement of God on anyone.

Praying is a waste of time there won't be peace until people are smart enough to do away with superstition.

Soon, God will send his Prince of Peace, Jesus, to destroy man's government that wage war, and the Kingdom of God will reign.

Dan 2:44 And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever,

Micah 4:3 He shall judge between many peoples, and shall decide for strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore;
Mic 4:4 but they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree, and no one shall make them afraid, for the mouth of the LORD of hosts has spoken.

1Co 15:24 Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power.
1Co 15:25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
1Co 15:26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.
1Co 15:27 For "God has put all things in subjection under his feet." But when it says, "all things are put in subjection," it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him.
1Co 15:28 When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all.
