It depends on how responsible the child is. Some kids are as mature at 12 than others are at 16. But for my children it was around 12.

13 because the child is a pre-teen and is able to correspond what is going on. They are pretty mature to understand what is wrong and what is right to be left alone. At least that's how I was and how most of the people I knew were.

this lady i know was left home alone when she was 8 but that was cuz she lived in a really safed town nothign ever happened
how safe is your town
i was starting to be ledt home alone around 10 but it would onlt be a litle bit then it got more
