There's a perfect throw, and I feel like laughing. I don't know why, maybe because I thought it was fun, or I was scared and the fear goes away after getting thrown. (then it goes back and I'm laughing) Do you feel like that?

You might be sadomasochistic, which means you like giving and receiving pain.
Enjoy.

All the time. My instructor just looks at me like I'm crazy, which I may be, but for me its just fun to get thrown. Do you find you laugh more or less after a particularly hard throw? And look at the bright side, if you ever get thrown in a non-studio situation, and start laughing, its better than crying.

Perhaps because it is thrilling.
When I get tossed there is that moment mid-throw that feels like a roller coaster. You feel weightless in your belly.
I feel it too. It is a rush.
Of course we are talking about friendly tosses here that occur in training.
In the street I do not think it would be fun if you landed on concrete whilst the person throwing you is trying to smash your brains out.

I sometimes laugh when my Wing Chun instructor starts wailing on me.. I think it's because I start thinking something like "geeze, this is ridiculous, I don't have a chance!" and then I give up trying to fight back. That's about the time I laugh. When I realize my efforts are futile.

I hear you man.
There have been times when I've experienced something....whether it be a throw, a strike, a weapons attack....etc, and truly...you just feel like laughing when the technique is finished.
I think it's a bit of adrenaline and your brain going "what the f happened?" in one.

I remember this from my judo/aikido days. I think it is a combination of endorphins and a little bit of euphoria from the sense of accomplishment/relief when you and your partner get a good throw down. Like the song goes... it hurts so good.

The human psyche has various ways of handling overwhelming events, one of which is laughing. The psyche will go through various "phases" of defending itself, and laughing is one of it's ways. God Bless you.

Maybe it's the exhilaration of flying through the air with the greatest of ease-only if the landing weren't so bad!

it can be your way of dealing with embarassment... i have seen others who laugh when they mess up at something, its cool if you laugh at it once in a while but some people do it all the time, over the most ridiculous stuff

i've felt that ziplining and at other risky sits. and i laugh when i'm nervous.
i think it's adrenaline and it's a pretty healthy way for our bodies to dispell excess energy.
