Well it depends on what job. If you are a burger flipper at Mickey D's or other lowly job, then about 10000 after taxes (This is current wages). If you go into a trade, I would say 17-23k after taxes.

i just graduated high school in 2006 and i am making eleven dollars an hour with very good benefits. I work at a doctors office as a receptionist. Usually front desk workers and reception don't go to college and we get paid very good . While health care facilities give great benefits.
PS: in HS i also took a lot of keyboard, office management, and Microsoft word classes...

Probably not all that much higher than a college graduate these days and in this economy. Probably around $25K.
