DO NOT go just to lpn. You will regret it. Why just go half way when you can go all the way? I mean you learn just as much as an lpn and then some. if you want to go for the Registered Nuse and work with kids take some ped. nursing classes and go from there. Dont limit yourself to LPN...usually they only work in nursing homes small facilities and hospitals. And after clinical hours you wont want to just work in those two places.
GOOD LUCK!

Well, it depends on what you really want. A pediatrician is a doctor and an LPN is more like a nurse. You just have to decide what you want more. Personally, I'd rather be an LPN, but you have to decide for yourself. They both make good money, although a pediatrician obviously makes a lot more. Although, that shouldn't be the basis of your decision.

Doctors always beat nurses in money and power. If you become an LPN, you'll take oerers from a doctor. Besides, pediatricians get to help kids.

Depends on how much time you want to dedicate. If you really want it, set your goals high and go for it. Besides, nurses take a lot of crap from Doctors..lol...
