There is a relatively safe 'window' of time right after you finish your period. The most risky time is during the 4 or 5 days before your period starts.

Here's the complete answer to your question.
1. When you are already pregnant
2. After menopause
3. After a hysterectomy or any other surgical procedure that would remove your ovaries, Fallopian tubes (both) or uterus making you unable to get pregnant
4. When having sex with a man who is proven to be sterile for whatever reason such as post vasectomy, removal of testicles, or any other reason.
5. When having sex with another female.
6. When the sex with a male does not involve penile penetration into the vagina, ie oral , anal sex or vibrator, manual, etc.
7. When you are using a scientfically proven form of birth control properly.

There are others in which it would be impossible to get pregnant but those are deviant and will be left to the imagination.

It doesnt matter.
There is no "best time to avoid getting pregnant."
No matter when it is, there is just as much change of getting pregnant.
When a girl is ovulating, most people think that it's the easiest for a girl to get pregnant, but it's really not.

Nothing is 100% fool proof. The only sure way to avoid it is to not have any kind of sex. Tie your knees together.
