I gained a little weight when I quit smoking, which was unfortunate. I don't think products like the patch and nicotine gum will help you lose weight, but they may help you to not gain weight while quitting.

If you smoke, please stop now! The health benefits of quitting are huge!

As soon as your sister's friend starts to eat again she will gain the weight back. Gum can help with weight loss if you chew it instead of eating between meals. Make sure you're eating healthy foods & sugarless is better.

If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate, and plan your diet carefully. Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx
