True love happens only once, but the thing is you might not find it the first, second, or third time around. That's why it is important to wait and see that the two of you are compatible and very into similar things and eachother. True love is being with the person unconditionally and until death.

I'm on my third marriage, thought I knew/was in love. I found my true love this time.

What is love? How did you know you were in love? What did you first notice about her that attracted you to her? What makes her different? How is she special? How do you know when you have found the one? These questions are posed by so many, not to me about us, but in general, about life.
I knew the first second, what I noticed about her first was everything. I always noticed eyes, legs, butts, breasts, smiles, attitudes, charm...but I noticed everything, at once. That is how, and when, I knew she was the one. She is different, she is special. As I have told her before, I will never hold what has happened to me with past women against her, she will be treated as the first woman I have ever known. In that respect, I will not transgress upon her, dishonor her, hurt her or disrespect her because she is the first woman I have ever known. In the literal sense, I have never truly known a woman, but didn't know this until I knew her. She have turned my life around and made me realize things that I never could.
She makes me smile when I think of her, I fall asleep seeing her face. Even when she is away, I still see her face. This is something I never could do before. I can't see my own mother's face without a picture, my friends' or co-workers' faces either, but I always see hers.
What makes her different is she is different. Everyone is different, we are made that way. She is completely different. All other women I ever knew were different, but the same. I never knew there could be that one that would stand out in a crowd, would make me turn me head and smile when I see her, even in my mind's eye. She makes my eyes swell with tears when I think of her thinking of me. When I feel her by my side. When I touch her and feel the pleasure of the physical contact. I want nothing more than to be the one I am. The one I have become.
Because she is different, I am different. I have changed and want to be different, to be the person, not that she wants me to be, but the person I want me to be. I have never felt more joy and love, desire, pleasure and fulfillment.
What is love? Love is grand, the greatest feeling, the feelings I now have and what I have come to know. Love is incredible beyond all beliefs. I now know that many people don't really love, they go through the motions, and most don't even know it. I didn't know it until now. Now I can finally stop going through the motions. It is life now, not a fairy tale, a hope has become a belief.

I'm not sure what I believe. People belive different things. Maybe not true love but great loves happen more then once.

well i belive true love hapens only once and only once becoz we have a very special feeling for our true love and we cant get that feeling for an othr person.for example if i m in love with some one and unfortunately i dont gt that person so the next time i wont be able to love any one becoz i will be Afraid of loosing that person so it wont happen the second time so dear i strongly belive love is very special and true love is more special so it cant happen again and again once n only once .......true LOVE

Love is most used and abused word in the world.
only your heart start beating but the mind refuses to work. everything else other than the one you love will not seems to be important. the love what you call is just a FEELING. we feel hungry to eat, we feel thirsty to drink, etc love is also like a feeling. it is a temporary exhilaration. every man/women will under go 2 stages in cyclic manner(once in 3 or 4 months) emotional high stage(EHS) emotional low stage(ELS) when both the partners are in EHS they feel like they are in love. both will try to keep the love going by building a castle on feelings. after some time when they are in ELS they feel like not loving each other. it is called as "trapped syndrome" so why to FALL in love like falling in to a pit? instead of it why can't we GREW in love? true love is Commitment , will to stay togather AFTER MARRIAGE

OHHHHHHHHH NOOOOOO! You will love many before your life is through. You have family, children, kind neighbors and friends, and many more people in your life. But with a mate, true love is also true friendship. If one dies early in life, chances are the survivor will bond again with another and love that person too. Love is very powerful and strong, and broad.

I don't think so...people think there are all these rules on love like believeing in love at first sight and what it is to really love someone. Love is a feeling that all humans have and need, and when you love something, you know it.

I think true love happen only once.
But ordinarily love happens many times. people some times think there ordinary love as true love and after that when they fall in love again that time they tell that true love happens more than 1 times.

Nope. I beleive it can happen an unlimited ammount of times. What is considered true love? Your first kiss? The first time you maked out? The first time you did it? The first time you got married? The first time you went out? What do you consider true love to be?
