I'm a 24 years old closeted gay asian male, and I find asian men absolutely gorgeous, i'm physcailly, spirtually, and emotionally attracted to my own kind, the way they think, family oriented and etc. But why do most gay asian men prefer white men? Does the dark and handsome with black hair and dark brown eyes not strike you at all as appealing???? I just don't understand why. In a way I'm bitching, because this observational fact narrows my options even more. Don't you gay asian men find the great values from your asian father? Come on!!!! Gay asian males are like asian women, wanting a white boyfriend.

I used to live in san francisco, ca and I have observed this too. I think any minority (asian, hispanic, black) loves the white gay male.
In society, they see posters, TV shows, magazine ads of white men who are muscular and young and handsome. Also those Acrombie and Finch posters show white hunks all the time. When people see this they think being handsome and being sexy is to be white. You rarely if never see anything with a sexy asian man on it. Most asian men want to be with a white man because they have self-racism. They think they are ugly or not as attractive and therefore they go for white men. They do not want to go for other asian men because they think they are ugly like themselves. Also, some gay asian men may not be attracted to asian men because they think of them as their brother. Also, most asian men feel totally rejected and outcasted and by being with a white man, it raises their social status. Meaning, a white man is like a trophy to them to show off and to say to society.."I am not like the other gay asian men! I have a white boyfriend! Look at me! I am different and accepted by whites!"
This is my observation but I am extremely perceptive.

Thats funny but I can relate to what your saying because its true I feel the same way about asian men as I have alot that are attracted to me but I can't answer your question as to why but can't surennder a guess that I can't say here hehe good luck
