I have Adobe Photoshop, and I never knew this program was in the same folder as Photoshop. I'm looking at it for the first time. It looks so much like Photoshop, so what is it's purpose for I'm wondering?

ImageReady is a companion application, shipped with Photoshop, designed specifically for preparing images for the web. As you learned in the Photoshop Toolbox section of the Photoshop Basics Lesson, the Photoshop Toolbox has a quick link to ImageReady — the Jump to ImageReady button . When the Jump to ImageReady button is clicked, the image in the active Photoshop Document Window will automatically open in ImageReady. ImageReady can also be opened from within the programs list of your computer.

I believe you can use ImageReady to create animated GIFs/images and other dynamic content.

try Google picasa. a similar software to imageready.

free to use and more powerful .
