He told me that religion corrupts the mind, and that life was what mattered. He's a hero so I want to believe him, but he didn't accept Jesus and my preacher says he's burning in hell with hitler.

Jesus as his lord and savior then he's actually in a seperate holding tank called Haties waiting to be thrown into hell were it will get like 200 times worse, the devil and the anti-christ will be the first ones to be thown into hell but that hasn't happened yet so your uncles in haties, (haties is not a good place to go, actually you burn in haties too but hell is a lot worse) Once again im soooo sorry but you asked, and i told you, sorry about your uncle, i know this may seem harsh but its the truth. I really hope your uncle accepted Jesus before he died, if he did then he's in Heaven.

HELL NO! Your brave uncle probably did more for humanity than any hundred so-called devout men. If he is wrong, and faith is as important as deeds, don't you think G-d has the smarts to know what essential goodness your uncle had? If G-d is perfection and mercy, etc., wouldn't He know the difference between a demented preacher who blindly quotes the Scriptures(as though he really knows how to interpret them correctly) and a man like your uncle that acts upon what men of faith consider to be unselfish, noble acts? Burning in hell? Shame on your preacher. "Judge not, Lest ye be judged". Your uncle is a true hero and a good man....safe and sound in the hereafter.

That preacher, and no other living person, can say with certainty whether he is or is not.

We do know that it is appointed unto humans once to die and then the judgement.

We do know that Salvation is in Christ and Him alone.

We also know that God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to eternal life.

None of us who are livng have any definite knowledge of what happens at the time of death ... it might be that up until the moment of death the individual is given the opportunity to accept. Perhaps this why people say that their life flashes before their eyes. Perhaps they remember something they have heard, even years before ... maybe something their mother told them, or a Sunday School teacher, or a Preacher, or even a televised preacher.

We believe in the mercy of God; we believe that people will be given every opportunity possible, until the moment of death.

While we believe in His Mercy, we should never presume upon it. We should never say, I've got lots of time, I'll wait until the last moment. We can not say with certainty that we will be given that last moment opportunity; and why should we miss the years of living with Christ before our death?

Now is the appointed time, now is the day of salvation.

We should never delay; but we also can trust a God Who is holy and just, but also loving and compassionate ... we can trust that He will do what is right; that He has gave your Uncle every opportunity possible.

Personally, I believe we will be surprised at many that we will see in Heaven. And probably surprised at some that we expect to be there, but are not.

As for your "http://flushaholybook.com", is that just your reaction to your misconception of what the Scriptures teach and what your preacher has said? Or is that your opinion of the Holy Bible itself?

Please don't believe what that preacher said to you because in my opinion, it was evil to say something like that to you. You obviously care a great deal for your uncle and still mourning his loss, the preacher should have kept his mouth shut. You uncle believed that life is what matters and he gave his life to help save the lives of others. I think that people like that who give so unselfishly of themselves go to a place that is beautiful, peaceful and wondrous. Whether you want to call that heaven or not, it's up to you. But your uncle is definitely not in the Christian hell!

i do not imagine it develop into finished by a demolition. I do imagine the towers went down contained in the resault of two planes flying into them. also, I nonetheless have the human beings mag with the the stuff that exceeded off on 9/eleven. in reality the nice and cozy temperature from the planes crashing and blowing up, made the towers volatile and that is how they collasped. The towers really a lot melted. As for Tower 7, that develop into finished by employing a demolition. That I head develop right into a secret construction, that there have been a conspiracy theory. it really is in basic terms my opinion.

Your uncle is not in hell. He committed no evil to go there. He just went to work to provide for his family. How on Earth does that get you a ticket to hell? Your preacher is narrow minded and mean spirited.

Such a preacher I would tell where to go, and never go back to his church.

That is one of the biggest problems with Christianity-their obsession with Jesus.

Yes. I think so too. For only those who believe will get into Heaven. Doing good works alone doesn't get you into Heaven. To the Germans during Hitler's reign. he was doing good things for them, but we all know Hitler is not in Heaven.

Tell your preacher to go to hell! How dare he say that to you! If your uncle was a good person, that's all that matters. I don't think there's a hell anyway.

God knows, but if your preacher is right, try not to go to the same place.
