George Carlin was using this wonderful thing called sarcasm. His whole point was that you would get the exact same results from prayer if you prayed to God, the sun, a thing of lipstick, or whoever the guy was he named. George Carlin does not worship the sun.

I don't worship, the sun or the moon or air. But if I did it would because I can the sun and moon and feel the air. Also you definition of breathe is one of many.
