So today here in yahoo answers a few hours ago someone asked the question, about the big bang, wouldn't the explosion kill all life?

So, is this a failure of the science education in America? Is this something the person learned in Sunday School?

Do Atheists or Agnostics ever say anything this extremely ridiculous, or is it just religious people?

Why do you think that is, that religious people just say things that are, obnoxious and illogical?

If I had seen that question, I would have pointed out that some explosions create life. Namely, the explosion that happens when a male.... explodes.... inside a female. POOF! Babies!

From what they have been taught. Even if a school system does teach science in the correct manner that does not mean that once outside of school their views won't be influenced by other factors. A lot of times if the parents say this is what we believe the kids are indoctrinated even though they learn differently in school. Family beliefs passed on in a generational manner can be very hard to break.

I think that having to be so close minded to the world outside their religion is what does it. Any time that someone is close minded..it's a bad sight..

Their ignorance is sad, and will bring them nothing but problems in life. But, they survive by sticking together with their equally uneducated friends and family. That is what we call a cluster ***. LOL

Well, it depends on the explosion, and if there was no life when it happened, you can't kill any life, because there was none.
