Dig a moat along the border to the Rio Grande.

Fill it with like 10 million Nile crocs and pirhanna.

Build some bleachers along the shore in the U.S..

Charge for admission.

What do you think?

lol That is kind of like my idea about the lions. Two sturdy chain link fences...lotz of lions in between...and a sign on the fence saying: ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Did I mention the lions do not get fed very often?

Heh, that's unfair to the poor crocodiles and piranhas- they'd be crawling and jumping onto the ground next to the moats to dehydrate and kill themselves because they wouldn't like the smell of illegal immigrant sweat, tequila, and refried beans. Keep this talk up and I'll call PETA and Steve Irwin's ex-wife!

-Seriously, though, it would be a lot cheaper to:
a. Build a tall wall. (With cameras watching various sections. Buildings with screens to show what the cameras are recording can be built every few miles.)
b. Station armed soldiers and armed border patrol agents on the border.
c. Get border patrol agents vehicles suited to the terrain of the desert. ("Police cars" for patrolling the border.) If necessary, small helicopters might be a wise investment. (So that a few individuals can track illegals from above.)
-This way, crossing over the border would be just like committing suicide.

LOL it'd be a grisly venture that would probably pay for itself, but I like a well-patrolled US/Mexico border fence better. Make 'line dancing' the national pastime! LOLOL

one problem: the pirhanna would eat the crocs.

alligators are more plentiful however, but crocs are more voracious.

ps. i will bring a chair.
