cut open the ribcage, pull out the heart, freeze it then throw it on the floor with a lot of velocity. i'm sure it will break.

Very carefully and with compassion (as much as you can muster) Having your heart broken is terrible, it leaves one feeling like they have a hole in their chest, not to mention the emptiness of the normal day to day things. If your going to break someones heart, you really have to be gentle as possible, because no one likes to be left crying or in total dispair when finding out that the one they love, dosnt love them anymore (or never did)

Tell the person that you are no longer interested in them. You can always say that you like/love someone else.
