My nose is red and sort of looks swolen, the bottom is rumbed raw from wiping it, because it is runny. My eyes are sort of puffy and my eye lids sort of burn and they are bright red.
I feel miserable.

Oh my nose is really stoped up.
It sort of looks like I have been crying but I haven't.

Sounds like me when I have this hay fever attack...aka allergic rhinitis. Aside from that... I guess you can't also stop sneezing... and though your nose is stuffy, the liquid is usually clear. What I suggest is that you take antihistamines... there are lots of over-the-counter drugs for this, although different types works for different people. You could also use eye drops for your eyes like Visine, it has also some anti-allergy components and would probably relieve your burning eyes. Also drink lots of water to replace the liquid lost and eat lots of fruits and vegies to strengthen your immune system. I hope you get better, although if it's hay fever, it would come back now and then... so also stay away from what causes this condition. Get well soon. :)

PS... if it doesn't get better, what are doctors for?

You are either coming down with the flu or you have a bad case of the allergies.. Why don't you take a Benedryl for allergies and see if that helps.. OR. EVEN BETTER.. take a Claratin D.. That is what I take ALWAYS when I get in your condition.. I did try Claratin and it did not work so a Pharmacist told me to take Claratin D.. I did and that was the best advice I had ever received.

sounds like allergies or a bad cold. Try some antihistms permitted you have good health and no reactions to medication.or contact a doctor if you are truly worried.

You seem to either be suffering from a cold or allergies. Take some antihisthamine if you aren't allergic.
