We've been together for three and a half years now and I love him very very much. Although he demonstrates how much he loves me in many ways, sometimes he isn't affectionate like I am with him and I need more than that.

ive been in a relationship for over 5 years, and i know what your tallking about, and i agree...all you can really do is tell him how you feel, and if he wants to make that change then he will,if not, what you do after that is up to you. I personally, when looking for extra affection, tell my fiance.....that hey, i need a little more affection right now.

You can't make anyone be more affectionate. You can however discuss the problem with him and let him make the changes if he wants to.
