I got over a relationship w/ my ex. I thought she was gonna be the 1 and all. well now that I'm over her.She's 1 of my best friends now. problem is, I don't know if my feelings will come back up for her. how would you know if your feelings for your ex will come up? how would you get out of it; Because I'd rather go to hell then put her through a relationship **** w/ me again! She means a lot to me, I don't want the feelings to come back! I jus' want her to be my best friend, I don't want to break her heart any more. any pointers? any tips? anything? I don't want to hurt her again!

Let me keep it real with you because I definitely went through this before, you cant really tell if the feelings will come back because sometimes we cant controll our feelings but we can controll our actions so if the feelings do decide that they want to come back then you have to try your best to ignore them and act like their not there and especially don't try to get back with her because you know yall better off as friends and if the subject ever comes up that's your answer yall better off as friends and you wouldn't do anything to mess your friendship up because you care to much about her! Now I know it may seem stupid to try to ignore what you feel but believe me it works because if you ignore anything it will eventually fade away trust me on that! You will probably always care about her it just can't leave the friendship level! Good luck!

God, if I had a dollar for every time I've heard "I don't want to hurt you". If you don't want to hurt her.......the just don't! Hurt her, I mean. If you develop, or feel you are about to develop the love feelings for her again, just walk away from her for a while. Find someone else. And for God's sake DON"T tell her! Suffer in silence.
Sorry to be so abrasive....but Jeeze I have been there with a man who is too old to behave that way, and he still did.
If she is your best friend, then be a real best friend and don't put her through hell anymore. Just keep your feelings to yourself.

Then don't!!!! If you respect her as a friend, then don't hurt her. You and only you have control of your actions and behaviors. If you think you are so powerful to make her fall in love with you and you plan on hurting her, then maybe you should leave her alone. This is an assinine question.

You are the only one that knows your heart. You can't have it both ways. You know if you are playing with her heart and just keeping her around because you feel strongly for her but can't stay faithfull or committed. Ask your self if you really care about her, or how you feel with out her. Please don't make another man hater , your actions may effect the desicions she makes and really#@#@# her life up.

You can continue being friends with her, but just remind yourself every now and then why the relationship side did not work. Try and find somebody more compatable to date.

tell her everything you just told me
be upfront with her
it will hurt in the beginning but it would be much more easier for everyone if you just be upfront with her
that's my pointer, my tip and that most like my everything
by doing this you will only hurt her less than if you were to make he believe you wanted something more

I think that you answered your own question......you said that you'll just hurt her again and that is something that you said you dont want to ever do again, that should be incentive enough to have you kep any future romantic feelings at bay. if you know that you are not good enough for her then you wont let any feelings like that come back up because you care about her feelings to much to hurt her again

Simple,don't hit on her or try to seduce her ever.If she try that with you,tell her what you really want from this relationship.You can love someone without being "IN" love. Just stay focus.
