Yes, without evidence it's hard to believe alot of things. But I think there is other life out there. Spock convinced me a long time ago. LOL

Yeah, you can believe life only exists on Earth, since there is no evidence of life on another planet. I believe it is possible life exist on another distant planet somewhere. Logically, this makes sense to me, because the universe is huge, and for this planet to be the only planet with life seems improbable, but it is not impossible. Maybe this IS the only planet with life. Who knows? Unless we actually see creatures from space, we can never have a definite answer. But finding life on another planet (maybe not in this generation or the next) is much more probable than finding God. The promise of physically seeing or meeting God comes only after death. People who have "found God" have only found him metaphysically.
ADF I can tell you in the early days of astronomy when they thought the universe revolved around Earth, it was the religious influences who made it difficult to advance our studies, and wanted to punish those who said the universe does not revolve around Earth. It was this belief that we are the center of the universe that reinforced those that taught philisophical and religious systems. We all know that is completley wrong. Today, it is the belief that we are the only planet in the ENTIRE universe with life.

We have not yet proved life exists on other planets but we are trying with space exploration. If you'd like you can believe earth is it, I can believe that given the size of the universe that somewhere there must be something else out there and since neither of us can empirically prove our point we both chalk it up to faith.

That is a very fair belief.
It is possible, and statisitically probable that life exists somewhere out there, but as of yet no extraterrestrial life has been found.
If anyone could prove life exists on another planet, we would all already know about it.

There are two different theories.
For the non-Creationists. In an infinite universe, the probability is almost definite that life exists in more then one place.
For Creationists. Why is it assumed that God only made life on Earth? Considering he created everything and has infinite ability, why not create life elsewhere in the Universe?

Well, we have only visited a few planets in our own solar system so far, so evidence is very limited. Too limited, in fact, to make a reasonable conclusion. If we haven't even been to one star outside of our own solar system, how can we say life "only" exists on Earth?
Better to say, "we have no knowledge yet of life outside of the Earth." There is nothing wrong with saying "I don't know yet".

No and no.
But they have discovered that stars have planets going around them, gravitational pulls on the stars are the evidence of them (planets).
So, with all the stars out there & with all the planets going around them, it is logalcal to assume there is life out there beyond Earth.

there is intelligence in the course of the Universe, and the position there is intelligence, this is going to remodel itself into existence the position achieveable. all of us recognize particular actual situations prefer to be met, and with extra galaxies than sand debris on the coastline the percentages heavily want that a number of them have the right planets to harbor existence. in case you spot the shape we've made contained in the perfect hundred years in technologies, now imagine if we had a million years of technolgy progression, and there might want to nicely be a existence form such as human beings that could want to nicely be that some distance ahead human beings that could want to have the capacity to vacationing us the following in the international.

No, but most likely it does given the vastness of the universe. It would be logical to believe that, but you won't KNOW if you are correct until it's discovered. (which may never happen)
