Actually Jesus is God. They are not a they, but a He. There is only one God. He does not exsist as three persons, but as One.
Check out Deuteronomy 6:4, and Mark 11:29.

Ignoring that crap about Jesus, the reason we ask questions we know the answers to is to get other viewpoints. About 80-90% of the questions in this section cannot be answered factually, and are more of a poll of opinion.
