THE STEREOTYPE IS ( and this is not in question from since a thesis shouldn't be a question: Mexicans are viewed as being illegal immigrants and other nationalities aren’t. --- I need help answering it, i have a lot already, just need a bit more. Need more info AGAINST THE STEREOTYPE, not facts about what's really going on that will go against this, because in this, i am sympathizing with the mexicans b/c i think the stereotype hurts all mexicans whom are legal.

You're not writing a thesis, you want to somehow justify you own bias conclusion without coming off sounding like a bigot...Sorry! To late for that! And when facts get in the way of your "logic" and little bells in your head don't go off, re-evaluate your conclusion.
In contemporary America Mexican nationals have the largest percentage of illegals in their group. It's like a snake eating its own tail, hard to tell where legal ends and illegal begins. No other group in America presents that problem on that scale. If 60% of all Hatians in America were illegal do you think anyone would really care?

You've got your american hispanics, your mexican tourists, and you got your illegal aliens. Chances are, all 3 speak spanish.
What you've also got is a MESS called our screwed-up 'giveitwaway, now' immigration 'system'.

Mexico needs domestic reforms and a lot of progress so that it can support its' people. WE need legislators that can read a map.
Mexico's basically been living off the United States for years, and the only way they're EVER going to stand up and be independent
is if their other options are limited. While we're talking about limitations, let's talk about 'birth control'. It's doubtful that Mexico can really support their own entire population anymore, I really have doubts about that. We've been lenient on border policy for so many years that if the border snapped shut tomorrow, it'd be anybody's guess what that might precipitate in their country.

Now, they do have farms, but can they put down enough crops to feed their people? I would assume so, because a lot of mexican heritage hails from the native americans, and they got along pretty well without US crop supports etc. I think they could be very successful at agriculture, if they put their minds to it.

So, basically, now we're left with some choices, among those how many more billions of US taxpayer dollars to throw at Mexico.
Or, do we accept the reality that they'll take every penny given and come back and ask for more?

Now, change subjects/countries. Mexico's pretty well-off compared to some countries out there. If we're going to be all noble and spend money around the globe to help the downtrodden etc., it's kind of a mistake to spend 80% of it on supporting a country that can pretty much take care of itself, that is, IF they were so inclined. That inclination may only be realized in the form of a border that can't be easily crossed.

I think we should blow out all our foreign aid stuff, and replace it with 'dollar-for-dollar', here's an idea for your thesis, a global aid program that takes 1 dollar from all donor countries, so if you had a buck from america, it'd be matched with a buck from like, 10 other countries, and build a 'Price Is Right' wheel or something and use it to pick the country of the year to get help. There's 200+ countries in the world, a fair number of which are in much worse shape than Mexico. So, telling Mexico 'don't go away mad, just go away', is probably prudent and frankly long-overdue.

I vote for building the US/Mexico border fence, and instead helping other countries that need it a lot more than they do.
Enforce the immigration laws, and end the perpetual dependency and the chronic dysfunction that results from it.

don't sympathize please stick with facts. you may not like the facts ,but the truth is the truth , and sometimes it hurts. but some people like a child resort to name calling ,and justifying something wrong because they don't like the truth, and the truth is while most of these illegals may be great people they came illegal ,and its not fair to those who have came legal and those trying to come legal .and you brought mexicans into this subject mexico is not a poor country and can take care of their own but choose not to and we are asked to foot the bill for mexico's corruption why should we continue to pay for corruption that makes no sense we gave seven previous amnesties and if nothing changes in mexico will we not be facing this problem again? and when will the mexican people demand from their own country instead of us where is the common sense in this issue

I don't think that All Mexicans are illegal immigrants. However, MOST illegal immigrants are Mexicans. Its a poor country that has a large border with us, making it very tempting and easier to sneak in, than other countries.

I would think that your conclusion applies only to the written word in this forum. In other words, people write and describe their actual feeling here in the form of discrimination and prejudice, the ultimate stereotype.

However, in real life, they may think it, while not acting out on it. Imagine how many bruised people in the world we would have if people acted on their stereotypical mind?
