In 2 Esdras 4:1-11 an angel, Uriel, reveals the limitations of the human mind:
The Angel Uriel, who had been sent to me, replied, "You can't even understand what happens in this world. Do you think you can understand the ways of God Most High?"
"Yes, sir, I do!" I answered.
The angel continued, "I have been sent to ask you to solve three riddles about what happens in this world. If you can explain even one of them to me, I will answer your questions about God's ways and teach you why the human race has an evil impulse."
"I agree sir, " I said.
The he said to me, "Good! How do you weigh out a poind of fire? How do you measure a bushel of wind? How do you bring back a day that has passed?"
I answered, "Why do you ask me such question? No human being could answer them."
Then he said, "What if I had asked you how many dwelling places there are at the bottom of lthe sea? How many rivers flow into the waters beneath the earth?

How many rivers are there above the dome of the sky? Where are the exists from the world of the dead? Where are the entrances to Paradise? If I had asked you these questions, you might have answered, 'I have never gone down into the waters beneath the earth, and I have not yet entered the world of the dead. I have never gone up to heaven. But all I have asked you about is fire, wind, and the day that has just passed -- things that you have experienced. Yet you have given me no answer. You can't even understand things that you have been familiar with since you were a child. How then can your little mind understand the ways of God Most High? Can a man already worn down by this corrupt world understand the ways of the incorrubible God?"
So, you see, faith is needed to fill the limits of the human mind.

How do you weigh and pound of fire? Well since fire is mostly energy and energy has mass based on E=mc^2, and something that has mass also must have weight, then all you would need to do is calculate how much energy is necessary to accumulate a pound based on the measure of gravity (gravity determines weight).
How do you measure a bushel of wind? How much is a bushel? That is not really a measurement but rather a descriptive term like "bunch" or "a lot." You'd first have to determine the precise amount of wind you were aiming for, then since wind is just the movement of air caused by the meeting of two different temperature regions, just get an air compressor and measure out enough PSI until you achieve the desired amount.
How do you bring back a day that has passed? Ever hear of a little thing called memory? You can remember what happened to you yesterday can't you? Then all you have to do is close your eyes and go over your memory of the preceding day's events.
There you go, I answered your questions. Happy? Maybe if that guy from the bible you mentioned had actually thought about the questions he could have come up with some kind of answer for them. Sometimes people just give up to easily.

Dear Bone Head Believer:
There is not a god or gods or super natural beings of any kind. You get all of this from a book which says you will go to hell if you question the book. This is true of the bible, the Torah, the Koran, and almost any other religion of any kind or type. It all comes down to this there are people who are brave enough to take the world as it is, a wonderful place with all kinds of knowledge that can be gotten from nature and human life. To put all of your trust in something that you told outright you will never understand and that a questioning mind is an evil one is a combination to trap your mind in a cage. The first step to dying is believing in a religion of any kind. Think about that before you pose puzzles you know cannot be solved by some mythical being in your own mind. And if you are mad at me right now, is it because you know I am right or I am wrong. Have a nice day and a nice talk with the bogey man in the sky.

Fire is a chemical reaction where a vaporous chemical is reactively oxidized by heat and oxygen.
Therefore, you can weigh a pound of fire by weighing a pound of the results. Relativistically, the heat released would be such a miniscule amount of energy as to equate to virtually no mass, so that much can be ignored.
In order to bring back a day, one needs to manage to quantum tunnel past the light speed barrier. Once one is FTL, it is possible to literally travel to any point in the universe. Getting back below the light barrier can be a problem. THere is also the Gott machine, though it's been proven there isn't enough energy in the universe to construct one -- but if string theory is true, it's possible that a Gott time machine might occur naturally (like a natural nuclear reactor was found a few years back because ores and water sources came together just right geologically).
WOOHOO! Two out of three even! So, when is Uriel going to come and tell me the secrets of God?

Being a Christian and scientist, I can answer these as an atheist would. Nonetheless God can alter the states of matter and give fire mass and a remote control to rewind to yeserday. All in all, here is how a well trained atheist would answer.
How do you weigh a pound of fire? In order for something to be fire, it must be burning. And since fire is a chemical reaction, one can only measure the mass since fire is a transitory phenomenon, aka, it is only present during a phase transformation as in a log of wood turning into ashes and etc.
How do you measure a bushel of wind? Well, one must change the air into solid matter since bushels are units of Volume yet for DRY COMMODITIES. Of course it is possible, since we don't have to worry about Absolute zero.
How do you bring back a day that has passed? What do you mean? One can bring back the day by remembering, watching a video. In reality, to bring back yesterday unto today is illogical, for does God will it? Why does this angel speak of another doctrine since Christ says not too look back for those who do will be ruined.
In conclusion, God gave man power over the earth and matter. To mold time unto our liking is nonetheless futile, for we cannot change the destiny that was, is, and is to come.

How do you know God does exist because of these questions. This book was written by a man, It's an easy way out to say a supreme being is at work.. just because we can't answer questions. Religion is the surrender of the mind, and is the anti-science. It worked in the old days when weoulcn't explain stuff. But now, it just hurts us.
Your logic is flawed, never will an arguement based on the bible win an atheist over. It's fake, and any reasonable person that is not brain-washed can see this.

that's genuine that human minds have barriers, yet donning the blinkers of dogmatic religions is in keeping with risk greater constraining than looking for the time of the microscope of scientific skepticism. technological expertise's M-theory describes a universe of significant complexity with 9 or greater dimensions. this form of international is so complicated that arithmetic is needed to describe it. The blended expertise of technological expertise is so complicated that no person individual can totally are conscious of it. Religions usually thrive by ability of offering simplistic solutions that make human beings sense solid. certainty is in spite of the undeniable fact that much greater complicated. It seems that technological expertise can let us know a honest volume approximately what the real Godlike cosmic intelligences may be like. Bible memories approximately how rainbows have been made by ability of God to vow not greater international floods, is a narrative a infant can understand in spite of the undeniable fact that it took my spouse around 4 years to benefit Spectroscopy. It takes time to benefit what the international is unquestionably like. Being a non secular nut takes little attempt.

All of that comes from the Bible, a religious text written by man. Therefore, how do I know any of that scripture you mentioned is true, and not just some stuff made up by a bunch of guys that wanted us to think something they came up with. I am not faulting you for what you believe, that is just my personal view on it.

I anxiously await credible evidence supporting the claim God exists.
Your "question" doesn't even come close to being evidence of any kind, credible or otherwise.
Here is a better example from an atheist's viewpoint:
The Sun can be observed and the energy felt by anyone of average perception. That is because the Sun exists.
God can only be perceived by those who claim he (it?) exists and no one else. That is because he (it?) does not exist.
See how easy that is?

Yeah whatever. So someone comes up with questions that we don't have the answers to.
How many grains of sand on the beach?
How many stars in the universe?
How many bacteria on the earth?
Does it make me a god b/c I can ask those questions and you can't answer them?
Why can't xians EVER use some logic?

What does any of that have to do with God? You can't prove the existence of God with a religious text that was written by men. Seems more representative of an invisible pink unicorn than of God.
