Regardless of State Money laundering is a Federal offense.
Depending on the amount and if the transaction has already finalized you have one of two choices.Ask yourself how it effects you ? If there are any repercussions that directly involve yourself then you may have to make the authorities aware. With absolute ignorance of the whole ordeal untill it was too late.
First thing the Feds ask themselves is why are you informing them?
If it has all transpired and not a great amount , whistle and walk then if asked just stick with knowing nothing . Closed mouth gathers no Feet!

You will be sent to Guantanamo Bay and tortured, then left to bake in the sun in an orange jumpsuit with a black bag over your head. When you are cooked medium well, the guards will feast on your flesh.
Just kidding. You have to do it intentionally and be aware of it to be culpable. But, they will certainly threaten you with prosecution to find out what you know, and to make you turn on anyone else who was invloved, or set you up, etc.

The moment you become aware of it and do nothing, you are guilty. You should get an attorney immediately and have him/her go with you to the authorities. Otherwise you will be spending 10 to 30 years in the pen.

It depends on the state, and the specific criminal statutes that you would be accused of breaking. In the US, all laws vary by state, except for federal laws, and that's its own whole separate list.

If you are the one who brings it to the attention of authoritys, tell them how you discovered that you were being taken advantage of, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
