Assuming you mean 5 ft in diameter by 10ft tall. You use:

Pi x (radius)^2 x height.

That will give you cubic feet. Cubic feet can be converted to gallons by multiplying by 7.48

About 1468.7 gallons.

If you mean a square tank 5 by 10 you need a height.

That's only two dimensions; you need three dimensions for volume. I'll asume it's 5' x 5' x 10'. That's 250 cubic feet, since you just multiply all three dimensions together to get volume. A cubic foot is 7.5 gallons, so your tank is 1870 gallons.

the tank must be an enclosed object else the water would spill. You are missing one dimension. Without it, you will never solve your question.
