Definitely tour Volcanoes Park, ask the ranger where you can see the lave flows into the sea. Thurston Lava tube, hike down a trail to crater floor of Kilauea Iki.

If you like to snorkel go to Kealakekua Bay, it's close to Kona.

Over in Hilo there's a lot where you can park and get a view of Akaka Falls, Kahuna Falls. In Hilo itself there's Rainbow Falls.

Kohala there's the flume ride, you can paddle kayaks through tunnels and canals used to water the sugar cane.

Pololu trail takes you to a beautiful seldom used beach.

Make a trip around the whole Island. Everywhere you turn there is an adventure.
