Leave her alone.

She'll give up the bottle when she's ready.

Why do parents think there's a set time-frame for children to do things.

Some children walk very young but don't get potty-trained 'til later
Some children talk but don't walk right away

She's only been here for 9 months....get off her back & leave her bottle alone. LOL

She is a little young...Pediatricians usually say to start weaning them around 11 months. Of course this is a personal decision...My son had a bottle until 14 months when he figured out he could push the nipple in and dump out the milk all over the place!!! The more you offer her a cup/sippy cup the more used to it she will become...You may have to try several different kinds before she finds one she is comfy with. Nuby makes a great sippy cup with a nice soft spout made from silicone just like a baby bottle nipple. Also, try not to put milk in her bottle when you start switching from formula...this way she associates the milk with a cup. Hope this helps and good luck!!

Start diluting her milk in the bottle. Then after a week have only plain water in there....then start having less and less water in there. Allow her to drink from a cup if she does well, otherwise help her. If she still hates the sippy cup, get her a plastic glass with a built-in plastic straw...or a small sports bottle. In a year or two, she will forget all about the bottle, and you will too, so don't stress too much. Your baby has her own schedule! She is special, NORMAL !!!

I had the best luck with the Gerber soft spout cups. They seem easy to use. My boy didn't start using a cup really well until a year and at about 13 months was done with the bottle completely (on his own, no fuss). Just give her some more time Good luck. oh I also gave watered juice in the cup only formula/milk in the bottle to encourage the cup at the beginning.

maybe, maybe not, but try to give her the sippy cup and don't give her the bottle at all and when she is ready to drink something she will take de sippy cup, I know, is hard, but thats the only way.

Wait till shes just over a year and then get her the cup that has a teat on it and slowly change the attachements!!!! You don't have to dilute her milk that is crazy it puts her health at risk!

AT one I put my son on the cup and never gave him a bottle after that!

this is a simple one. Take your baby...and the bottle and throw the bottle in the trash...do it in front of her. She will fuss at first but she'll get over it. then give her the sippy cup and she'll latch on to it real fast. Don't worry about her fussing it's natural. you just got to deal with it for a week or so then she'll come around.
